Types of Music Videos

In this post I will provide an example of the three main types of music video. These are performance videos, Narrative videos and Concept videos.

Performance Video- Single Ladies By Beyoncé.



This is a performance video as it is just Beyonce and two back up dancers. This means you have to focus on them the dance and Beyonce singing.

Narrative Video- Hall of Fame by The Script



This is a narrative as it takes you through the story of the wannabe dancer and boxer.

 Concept music video-  This to shall pass By OK Go

This is a concept video as it is very werid and doesnt fit into any other category which makes it a concept video.
